Emirates Airlines Triumphs at Arabian Travel Market 2024

Emirates Airlines, a leader in the aviation sector, garnered nine prestigious awards at the Middle East edition of the World Travel Awards 2024, Business Traveller Awards 2024, and the Global Loyalty Awards 2024, during this week’s Arabian Travel Market.

Recognition of Excellence

The airline’s remarkable success in securing these esteemed awards reflects its leading position in the travel and aviation sector. It acknowledges the airline’s distinguished investments and ongoing initiatives aimed at providing its customers with the best travel experiences, both on the ground and in the air.

Accolades

Emirates Airlines clinched the title of “Best Airline in the World” at the Business Traveller Middle East 2024 Awards ceremony. Additionally, it received four other awards: “Best Premium Economy Class,” “Best First Class,” “Best Airport Lounge in the Middle East,” and “Best Frequent Flyer Program.”

The awards were received by Adel Al Ghaith, Emirates Airlines’ Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations for the Gulf, Middle East, and Central Asia, and Dr. Nejib Ben Khedher, Senior Vice President of Skywards, Emirates Airlines.

Global Recognition

At the World Travel Awards ceremony, Emirates Airlines claimed three prestigious awards: “Leading Airline in the Middle East,” “Leading First Class in the Middle East,” and “Leading Loyalty Program in the Middle East” for its Skywards program.

Moreover, Emirates Skywards was honored with the “Best Global Loyalty Program in the Middle East” at the Global Loyalty Awards 2024, one of the industry’s most prestigious accolades. The program continues to solidify its position as one of the world’s most valuable and esteemed loyalty programs, boasting a membership exceeding 30 million worldwide.

Innovative Offerings

Renowned for its leading position in providing world-class products and services to customers across all travel classes, Emirates Airlines introduced significant enhancements to its products last year. These included the introduction of sleepwear and pre-order dining options for business class passengers, as well as the reopening of eight passenger lounges worldwide after comprehensive refurbishments. Additionally, 16 A380 aircraft underwent complete refurbishment and were equipped with the latest products and interior designs.

Future Plans

During its participation in this week’s Arabian Travel Market, Emirates Airlines announced the addition of 71 Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft to its fleet upgrade program. This multi-billion-dollar initiative, totaling 191 aircraft, aims to ensure its customers continue to experience “constant excellence” in travel for many years to come.

The airline will also offer its highly popular premium economy class to customers in 42 cities by February 2025, with the first batch of A350 aircraft joining its fleet in September. These aircraft, along with the upgraded ones, will feature the premium economy class.
